The pressure of writing a dissertation is most monstrous and unimaginable. Due to inability to handle the ginormous task on their own and deadly threatening time constraint, many people decide to buy a dissertation.
It is neither an easy task to decide where to
buy dissertation from nor ask for an advice on it. Judgmental as advisors may be, they regard buying dissertation online unethical which is entirely a…

First day, so far so good, despite a few bumps --(cancellations) a lot of good dialogue, networking and some very informative sessions: one conspicuous shift I notice so far at this conference is greater focus on actual pedagogy --enhancing learning-- and how that may look as opposed to just tips, technique, and broadly stated 2.0 evangelism.... Which is refreshing... Other views? Please join the forum!

But here's what we did:
flashclassroom.com is a great resource especially the learn tab
Atomic learning.com is another that has tons of help though not as accessible as the above
Use Jing at jingproject.com to make your own videos
Some made teddy bears.
Any one with more expertise?

If you attended my talk in Shanghai last year, you know that I’m a proponent of data-driven decision making and using data to inform instruction. Basically, I’m a big data geek. At my school, we’re doing some exciting things with teaching data literacy to students as well, and I’d like to share some of the tools and techniques we’re using. These links will help participants in my workshop on Saturday access some of the websites, tools, and software that I’ll be demonstrating.
The two big concept…

How do we ease the burden of transition to 121 Laptops when students are adjusting to lockers, planners, MS, making friends, new.... everything?? Kids are resilient, but introducing 121 laptops in an already stressful year seems silly. However, it's happening at our school - so how do we deal with it?
Managing It: I think each teacher needs to choose one or two technologies that will enhance their subject (ie: Blogs/Wikis for English, interactive java applets for math science, etc - not an exha…

Well, we are very pleased to say Day 1 of the Flat Classroom Workshop was a great success. Lots of intense work getting used to new technology tools (Ning, wiki, backchannel, creative commons etc) but also lots of team building and getting to know new people.
We invite everyone to review the
Day 1 wiki. All teams have started their brainstorming and issue identification. Each team should have posted information on t…

Does it work? We are moving to this next year. Students coming to me will be adjusting to MS, adjusting to lockers/planners/fitting in - and they will be given a laptop too. They're probably more tech savvy than most of the adults at our school, but assuming that, how do I make it beneficial for them? How do we make it more of a help than a hindrance/stress? How do we support our students?

This conference is leading edge in terms of tools, concepts and philopsohy for educators. However, not everyone who attends has been blogging with their students or done virtual projects and international collaboration ... yet. If you are looking for a couple practical tools to begin using technology in cool ways RIGHT away in your classroom, I'll be demonstrating my favorites:
1)
Sandvox (simple, teacher-friendly Website building)
2)
PBworks (favorite education wiki; I'll demo fe…
