The mentoring concept sounds great Jay and is really on the money for empowering students. It must be an idea whose time has come. There are a group of international schools who are organising groups across 3 schools to support some projects by yo...

Hi Paul, You're right about the perpetual beta nature of what we're doing, and it's not just with technology! Following up on my promise to keep you posted on the project I'm working on, it looks like the focus will increasingly be on mentoring,...

Jay, I think these projects are always embryonic and will continue to be long after we have left our marks on the educational landscape. The discussion of the setting up and getting the others onboard is the most exciting IMHO. I was once respon...

Hi Paul, Thanks for your interest. I'm not sure what we might be able to talk about in October, as our work is at an embryonic stage, but I'll keep you posted on how it progresses.

Hi Jay, I am greatly encouraged to read that a group here is working on developing such an inquiry. I will let you know when the workshop proposals are out and I would love it if your team could "unpack" some of this for teachers in October's conf...

Hi Mark I enjoyed your sessions enormously- thanks for imparting some of your ideas and knowledge. I have a quick about the paradigm shift graphs. The vertical axis talks about percentage of efficiency- can you tell me how these were calculated? and also the source of this data.
Thanks so much!

Mark, it was most inspiring to listen to you and as i begin to sift through all the information find myself increasingly excited about the implications. to be possibly part of such a huge rEvolution is quite a humbling thought.

apart from saying thanks i also wanted to pass on this to you

i don't know whether you have come across silentmiaow before, but in view of what you were saying about people who are autistic i thought it might be interesting. her work is certainly thought-provoking.

Hi Mark, I really enjoyed the sessions you presented that I could attend.

I think what you have manage to achieve in NZ with your peers is nothing short of brilliant, especially getting it passed through government where they usually bail on such initiatives. Your conceptual framework can rework any curriculum and has simplified things immensely without losing on quality. I really hope the NZ teachers give it the best shot when it is rolled out next year, and they embrace it. It is a great opportunity for NZ for really shine with this and be an example to the rest of the world on how things can be moved forward in education. Would love to be a part of it ....Any jobs going???LOL!

Hi Mark ... many thanks for your insights and challenges. Would you please pass on the .pdf file chapter for 21 century librarian. I would also encourage you or anyone else interested in technology integration to consider attending the Learning 2.008 conference in Shanghai September 18-20.
