Hi Shamblesguru and great to see you as a member of this group. I love that feature of skype now that allows you to share screen tops. It means we can share photos to show where we go to school, live, interests etc. I think I read that a mac version is being worked on but not yet available.
Some other sites well worth knowing about are:- a skype pbwiki for those interested in finding partners for skype linkups and skype other classrooms on theedublogger site.

There is a video conferencing area on Shambles with a pile of links at http://www.shambles.net/pages/staff/VideoConf/ .. I hope useful.

There are some others that are scattered around different areas on the site ... for example I recently found out about a project that was collating a list of authors who were willing to talk about their books using Skype ... link at http://www.shambles.net/pages/school/author/

On a personal note ... it was only yesterday that I found out that Skype 4.1 (Windows) had a very useful new option to share your desktop ... so I downloaded it and it works brilliantly.
Cannot find it on the Mac Skype .... any sugestions? ..... am I just not looking in the right place?
