Introduction to LIONeL

LIONeL is a highly feature-rich theme for moodle that has been in development and use at KGV since 2003. A key to its on-going success and popularity with KGV staff is that it is highly customised by a teacher for teachers.

In the session the LIONeL developer will showcase some the features of the system including

IMS informed email that is used to send about 3000 messages a week to [only] the necessary recipients
Ajax driven lesson registration system
Rubric based online marking system which supports Assessment for Learning in a variety of ways including peer and self assessment features.

Permalink Reply by Clive Roberts on September 19, 2009 at 9:53am: As a long time Moodler and having just completed a Moodle for Teachers 'hands-on' workshop (this workshop is now available on-line) feedback from thw orkshop indictaed the need for an advanced Moodle 'power users' course - which will be developed over the next few months. I would be very interested to see some of the more advanced features that you mention in your post - Is there a link anywhere?; ▶ Reply to This
